Micro-Enterprise Mentoring Program
MICROPAR is a FNE microenterprise promoter mentorship program. It connects young entrepreneurs with experienced business leaders who guide them in developing their activities, like 'the helping hand of an older brother to a younger one'.
Salaried job opportunities remain very insufficient in Cameroon. Faced with this reality, FNE developed comprehensive support for microenterprise project holders, structured in six phases: 1. Candidate reception and evaluation 2. Business plan development assistance 3. Credit committee evaluation 4. Training 5. Financing and installation 6. Follow-up and guidance The follow-up phase proved vital but resource-constrained. FNE designed MICROPAR to pair experienced business leaders with financed micro-enterprises, strengthening their long-term chances of success.
MICROPAR aims to:
- Strengthen microenterprise development through guidance from experienced business leaders;
- Encourage civic commitment from established entrepreneurs toward young promoters;
